Julie Vaquilar, San Francisco, joined Low Ding Zone in January 2007. She started ringing handbells in 1997 and currently rings with Bay Bells' Large Ensemble, the SF State University Handbell Choir, the Marching Handbell Choir, and Bell Appeal at Bethany United Methodist Church.

When not ringing bells, Julie works as the Assistant Registrar at SF State University. She also finds time for combining two favorite activities – traveling and watching baseball games at stadiums throughout the country. Julie is quite pleased that LDZ has added "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" to its repertoire.
