“Towering Bell”
Kendra Scott joined Low Ding Zone in 2008 as part of our excursion to Riverside, CA for the AGEHR Area XII festival. Larry asked her if she could play clarinet, and she said if he lent her one, she could. She has also been ringing with Bay Bells large ensemble since January 2008. Kendra is a fourth-generation handbell ringer, her great-grandmother having bought her first eight Whitechapels in 1938. Kendra has been ringing for over 12 years, and when she's not ringing, she teaches music and English to middle schoolers in San Jose. She hopes to start a school bell choir soon with the two octaves she inherited from her great-aunt.
